Angela “Angie” Parks is the Finance and Operations Manager. She is a Korean-Indigenous woman raised in Seaside, California and later Southern California during her teenage years. Her mother is a first generation immigrant from South Korea, and her father was raised in West Virginia and is from the Cherokee Nation. She brings passion for culture, advocacy, and helping others succeed. 

Angie is currently attending college, majoring in Public Health. She is an alumni and facilitator of MILPA’s Next Generation Fellowship and Mujeres Circle, currently participates in a public health fellowship, and serves on a health equity advisory committee. Angie’s lived experience gives her the fire to give back by mentoring women behind the walls through financial literacy and accountability coaching. Angie is also taking Cherokee language classes to reclaim her first language.
