Keylin Figueroa

Communications Coordinator II

Keylin E. Figueroa {Kay•Lin} oversees the MILPA Narrative and Communications Team as the Communications Coordinator II. Raised in the Central Valley, she is proud of her Chicana Indigenous heritage from Guanajuato and Jalisco, Mexico.

She is a creative and community advocate with a passion for cultivating vibrant and resilient communities through art, culture, and strategic communication. At MILPA Keylin manages social media, email marketing, public relations, and digital content development, with a focus on amplifying our mission, programs, and impact. She is currently part of the Seaside Art and History Commission, advising the protection of the city’s cultural resources. As a fellow from Resilience Initiative's and Lightbox Collaborative Strategic Communications Cohort, she honed skills in effective public engagement and collaborative problem-solving.

Keylin received her B.A in Humanities and Communications, concentrating on Journalism and Media from Cal State Monterey Bay and A.A/A.A.T in Communications Studies from Modesto Junior College.

When she’s not nerding out in the comms world, you can find her crafting or diving into conspiracies.
